The Bausch + Lomb ONE by ONE Recycling program is the first and only contact lens, eye care and lens care recycling program in the United States. Due to their small size and the type of plastic, these materials aren’t accepted in local recycling facilities and may inadvertently end up in landfills or waterways. This program helps ensure these materials are properly recycled and don't end up in the environment.
The ONE by ONE Recycling Program collects the following used materials:
EMPTY AND DRY PRODUCTS ACCEPTED:
Used contact lenses and lens cases
Used contact lens packaging
Small-size (<4 ounces) contact lens solution bottles and caps
full-size (10+ ounces) contact solution bottle caps
Single-dose eye drop vials and vial foil wrapping
Bausch + Lomb over-the-counter eye drop bottles
LUMIFY® Preservative-Free Redness Reliever plastic trays and paperboard sleeves
Biotrue® Micellar Eyelid Cleansing Wipes and foil wrapping
NOT ACCEPTED:
Unopened blister packs
Outer paperboard/cardboard packaging
Full-size (10+ ounces) lens solution bottles
